Obstetrics A

5:00-6:30 a.m. – breastfeeding

6:30 a.m. Return of babies to the routine care Neonatology Department

7:30-9:30 a.m. – Neonatologist rounds

7:45-8:30 a.m. – Breakfast

8:30 a.m. – Babies taken to their mothers

9:00-11:00 a.m. – Gynecologist rounds

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Diaper changing in the Neonatology Department

11:00 a.m. – noon – Discharge

12:00-1:00 p.m. – Lunch

3:00-4:00 p.m. – Diaper changing in the Neonatology Department

4:00-5:30 p.m. – Visiting hours

6:00-7:00 p.m. – Dinner and diaper changing in the Neonatology Department

7:00-9:00 p.m. – Visiting hours

10:00 – Babies returned to the Neonatology Department (except rooming-in babies)

10:30 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. – Babies stay in the Neonatology Department overnight

Saturday and holiday eve: 7:00-10:00 p.m.

The spouse or companion wearing a wristband (one red) can stay with the mother in the department between 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Obstetrics B

Mothers who choose zero separation will be admitted to Obstetrics B and their baby will stay with them without any separation throughout hospitalization.

7:30-9:30 a.m. – Neonatologist rounds

8:00-9:30 a.m. – Breakfast

9:30 a.m. – noon – Gynecologist rounds

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.- Discharge

12:00-1:15 p.m. – Lunch

6:00-7:00 p.m. – Dinner

We encourage rooming-in of babies with their mothers and believe in the importance of minimum separation to forming the initial bond with the baby, for the mother’s health and to establish breastfeeding.
